Punjab News- District level farmers' camp for Rabbi Season from September 15

Chandigarh, September 13, 2013: The Punjab government has announced scheduled program for farmers' training camp for Rabbi Season in each district of the state with a view to provide technical information about the sowing of crops. These camps would be organised from 15 to 29 September.

Divulging the details, a spokesman of the Agriculture Department said that these district level farmer training camps would be held under the supervision of headquarter level officers and first camps would be organized at Gurdaspur  and Hoshiarpur on September 15, 2013, while in district Patiala  and SAS Nagar  on Sept. 17, district Moga and Ferozpur on Sept. 19,  Tarn Taran and Amritsar on Sep 21, district Kapurthala and Jalandhar on Sep 22, in district Roopnagar  and Saheed Bhagat Singh Nagar on Sep 24, in district Ludhiana and Fatehgarh Sahib on Sep 25, in Sangrur and Barnala on 27, in district Faridkot and Sri Muktsar Sahib on Sep 28, in Bathinda and Mansa the camps would be held on Sep 29

The Spokesman said that all the district agriculture officers have been asked to ensure the participation of farmers so that they could get more benefit.
