Ferozepur, December 20, 2013: Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur Manjit Singh Narang today paid a visit to the site of Bandala Kot Budda Pattan bridge at Satluj to see the progress in the construction work. He instructed the concerned officers to re-start the construction work of the bridge.
It is worth mentioning that this under-construction bridge is very important for the residents of Ferozepur-Amritsar belt because this bridge shall reduce the distance between these two border towns and thus it will help the traders and the other residents of Ferozepur and Amritsar.
The Deputy Commissioner also informed that a sum of Rs. 46.20 crore will be spent on the construction of this bridge.
