Punjab News- CM visits house of Vidhu Jain

Malerkotla (Sangrur), October 8, 2013: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today said that the state government would leave no stone unturned in tracing the murderers of 11 years old innocent child Vidhu Jain, who was killed brutally a few days back.

The Chief Minister accompanied by Cabinet Minister Bikram Singh Majithia and Rajya Sabha MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, today visited the house of Vidhu Jain and condoled the death of the child. He who stayed at the residence of Vidhu Jain for about half an hour assured his family members that the culprits of this barbaric crime would be behind the bars soon. He said that a high level investigation team of the Police was looking into the case adding that he had directed the Police officers to bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to the book.

The Chief Minister said that the sacrifice of Vidhu Jain would be instrumental in exposing those elements who want to disturb the hard earned peace and communal harmony in the state. He categorically said that the state government was committed crush the ugly head of all those powers which were trying to divide the people on communal lines by carrying out such nefarious activities. “We are keeping a close tab on all such forces and I assure you that the culprits of the case will be given exemplary punishment” added Badal.

Lauding the Malerkotla residents for being the flag bearers of communal harmony, peace and brotherhood, the Chief Minister said that the people of this town have once again upheld the long tradition of love and mutual cooperation by maintaining law and order situation even in the tense circumstances. Badal appealed the residents to extend fulsome support and cooperation to the Police and Civil authorities by exercising restraint in this hour of crisis.

On the occasion Revenue, Information & Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia also shared his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family. Praising the family for fully supporting the Police and Civil administration in investigating the case, Majithia also assured them that the culprits of this dreadful crime would be put behind the bars soon. He said that the state government was making all out efforts to crack this case.
