Punjab News- CM approves administrative reshuffle of 11 IAS and 12 PCS officers

Chandigarh, September 14, 2013: In a major reshuffle, the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today gave nod for the transfers and postings 11 IAS and 12 PCS officers in the state with immediate effect.

Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Chief Minister's office said that Badal cleared the file to this effect this evening. Giving the details, spokesperson said that S.S Channy , IAS has been posted as Principal Secretary Tourism, Cultural Affairs & NRI Affairs and in addition Principal Secretary Transport, Jagpal Singh Sandhu IAS posted as Principal Secretary Social Security, Women & Child Development, Roshan Sunkaria IAS posted as Principal Secretary Parliamentary Affairs and Higher Education, Raji P Srivastava IAS posted as Secretary Tourism and addition Secretary Cultural Affairs, Archeological and Museum, Prithi Chand IAS posted as Director SCs & BCs Welfare and in addition Special Secretary welfare and in addition State Transport Commissioner's charge, Varun Roojam IAS posted as Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar, Tanu Kashyap IAS posted as Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur, Anandita Mishra IAS posted as Deputy Commissioner SBS Nagar, Ajoy Kumar IAS posted as Special Principal Secretary to Chief Minister,  Supreet Gulati IAS posted as Additional CA GLADA, Varinder Sharma IAS posted as CA Bathinda Development Authority and Chairman Improvement Trust Bathinda.

The Spokesman further said that S.S. However, the consent of the Chief Electoral Office would be obtained for the officers involved in the revision of electoral rolls, added the spokesman.
