Chandigarh, September 4, 2013: The Punjab Government today issued instructions to only retrain the DCRG (Death Cum Retirement Gratuity) of those employees who have pending departmental/Judicial cases against them at the time of retirement.
A spokesman of the Punjab Government today said that in the light of Judgment given by Punjab and Haryana High Court on the Civil Writ Petition No 24170 of 2012, Punjab Government today asked to all Financial Commissioner, Principal Secretaries, Administrative Secretaries, All heads of Departments, Registrar of Punjab & Haryana High Court, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and SDMs to make sure the implementation of instructions issued by Punjab government in their respective jurisdictions in this regard.
He further said that all DDOs (Drawing & Disbursing Officers) have also been asked to follow these directions strictly.
