Ludhiana, June 24, 2026: Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian on Wednesday conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing development works undertaken by the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA).
During the visit, he also listened to the grievances and concerns of members of the public and colonisers regarding development works and other related issues. The Minister directed the officers to examine all genuine grievances on priority and ensure their timely resolution in accordance with the prescribed rules and regulations. He emphasized that the functioning of GLADA should be transparent, responsive and citizen-friendly, with every effort made to facilitate the public and ensure ease in getting their legitimate works completed.
The Minister emphasized the importance of timely completion of development projects while maintaining high quality standards. He instructed the Engineering Wing to closely monitor the progress of works, remove bottlenecks proactively and ensure that pending works are taken up on priority.
Reaffirming the Punjab Government's commitment to clean, efficient and citizen-centric governance under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, he urged all officers to discharge their duties with dedication, integrity and sensitivity towards public concerns.
He urged the officers to remain accessible and responsive to citizens so that their genuine issues are addressed without unnecessary delay. Senior GLADA officials assured their full cooperation in implementing the Minister's directions.
