Mann Govt’s Zero-Tolerance on Gangsterism: Punjab Back on Path of Development, No One Will Be Allowed to Derail It: Dhaliwal
Chandigarh, November 27, 2025: AAP Punjab Chief Spokesperson and MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, addressing a press conference in Chandigarh, strongly asserted that the Punjab Government will not tolerate any attack on the life, safety, or dignity of any Punjabi, regardless of religion, community, or political affiliation.
Dhaliwal said that a few days ago, in Fazilka, gangster elements shot dead Naveen Arora, son of an RSS leader. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann took the incident very seriously and issued strict directives to Punjab Police to arrest the killers at any cost.
“Today, within just five days, our brave Punjab Police personnel have neutralised gangster Badal, the main accused who fired the shots and murdered Arora,” Dhaliwal said. He added that the swift action reflects the Mann Government’s uncompromising commitment to law and order and its zero-tolerance policy towards gangsterism.
Dhaliwal warned that anyone attempting to disturb peace, fire at Punjabis, or derail Punjab’s development will face the toughest possible action. “Punjab Police is fully prepared. Until Punjab becomes completely gangster-free, our fight will continue relentlessly,” he said.
He highlighted recent police operations that have resulted in multiple gangsters being killed, injured, or arrested in the last eight to ten days, even as police personnel themselves faced injuries while confronting armed criminals.
Sending a clear message to gangsters, Dhaliwal said: “You have two choices, surrender and return to the mainstream, or leave Punjab. But do not think you can fire a gun and escape. If you challenge the law, you will either land behind bars or be neutralised, just like Badal.”
Dhaliwal reaffirmed that under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Mann, Punjab is firmly on the path of development, and no criminal will be allowed to obstruct the state’s progress or disturb its peace.
