Punjab Govt to hold “NRI Milni” at Ludhiana on July 22
Amandeep Kaur, Special Secretary, Department of NRI Affairs Punjab, today informed that an “NRI Milni” will be organised at Ludhiana on July 22. This event will be held at Sohan Lal Pahwa Auditorium, Guru Nanak Bhawan, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana from 11 am onwards on July 22.
Ludhiana, July 17, 2026: Amandeep Kaur, Special Secretary, Department of NRI Affairs Punjab, today informed that an “NRI Milni” will be organised at Ludhiana on July 22. This event will be held at Sohan Lal Pahwa Auditorium, Guru Nanak Bhawan, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana from 11 am onwards on July 22.
NRI’s from 4 districts namely Ludhiana, Sangrur, Malerkotla and Barnala will be attending this event. Senior officials of the NRI Affairs Department, Punjab Police and district administration will also take part in it.
While overseeing the arrangements regarding this upcoming event, Amandeep Kaur said that the NRI Affairs Department is committed to resolving issues faced by non-resident Punjabis in a transparent, fair and time-bound manner.
She said that the initiative is aimed at hearing grievances of NRIs and ensuring prompt action by the concerned authorities.
She urged that if any NRI from Ludhiana, Sangrur, Malerkotla and Barnala districts is having any grievance, they should attend this NRI Milni and assured all possible help would be provided to them.
