Punjab Governor to confer the Startup Samagam 2026 Awards in Ludhiana

The Governor of Punjab, Gulab Chand Kataria, will be the Chief Guest to the upcoming Startup Samagam Awards 2026, a Leaders’ Conclave to be held on May 21 (10 AM onwards) at Park Plaza in Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, May 15, 2026: The Governor of Punjab, Gulab Chand Kataria, will be the Chief Guest to the upcoming Startup Samagam Awards 2026, a Leaders’ Conclave to be held on May 21 (10 AM onwards) at Park Plaza in Ludhiana.  Samagam is a flagship event of Ludhiana Angels Network, who has done an outstanding contribution in the field of the startups and the Samagam is now one of the most recognized events in the state of Punjab. Other than pitching and discussions, it also bestows awards in 5 different categories. 
Samagam was created in 2023 to create an organized and organic startup ecosystem in the state of Punjab. This event sees trailblazing enterprises and startups come under one roof to celebrate the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship thereby putting a remarkable contribution to the nation’s vibrant and ever-evolving entrepreneurial landscape. 
Sanjeev Pahwa, Chairman Ralson Tires, speaking on the occasion said that it is his great pleasure to participate with Ludhiana Angels Network in awarding the Best Institute in promoting entrepreneurship. 
The other stalwarts who addressed the Press Conference today are JR Singhal, owner of JRS Eastman, Umesh Munjal, owner of UM Holdings, and Vineet Sood, chairman of Centex International.
The 2026 Samagam will see stalwarts of Punjab coming from the field of businesses. Institutions and universities, VCs of the universities, directors of institutes, industrialists, startup founders, innovators, officials, policy makers, etc to witness the ceremonial bestowal of honors in the form of Startup Samagam Awards. The event will have more than 300 people from all walks of life from the startup ecosystem gathering to hear the pitches and at the end to celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship.
