Punjab government to provide employment to unemployed youths in textile sector

Chandigarh, October 17, 2013: Punjab Government would provide employment to the unemployed youths of the state in Textile sector. Disclosing this here today a spokesman of Employment Generation and Training Department, Punjab said that this training would be commenced on October 21, 2013 at Apral Training and Design Centre, Khuni Majra.
Spokesman further said that this training would be given in the technical courses related to Smart Industrial Sewing Machine Operator (Basic and Advance), Smart Finishers and Packers, Smart Quality Checker and Smart Surface Ornamentation. He further said that 5th pass youth having age 18-35 years could get admission in these courses and strength would be 30-40 for each course.
He said that fee of these courses would Rs.3,300 per course and  25 percent fee would be exempted for SC/ST and Women candidates. He said that this fee would be reimbursed to qualified candidates after the completion of course.
He further said that 40 percent placement would be made by Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC)  and this placement would be minimum for Rs.3,000 pm. www.cityairnews.com
