Punjab government partially modifies eligibility criteria for nursing courses
Chandigarh, November 12, 2014: The Punjab Government has partially modified the eligibility criteria for the candidates desirous of seeking admission to the M.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Courses for the session 2014-15.
Divulging the details, a spokesperson of the Government said that according to the modifications, the candidates may be given admissions on the basis of inter-se merit in the respective qualifying exam i.e. Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing Courses. This will be subject to the condition that the candidate must have passed the qualifying exam with 60 % marks and for the candidates belonging to the SC/BC category, the percentage limit shall be 55%.
The spokesperson also clarified that this has been introduced as one time measure only for the session 2014.
