Punjab Government Invites Applications for Post of State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities
Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is consistently working for the welfare of individuals with disabilities. As part of these efforts, the Social Security, Women and Child Development Department has invited applications to fill the position of State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities until the 15th of September 2023.

Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is consistently working for the welfare of individuals with disabilities. As part of these efforts, the Social Security, Women and Child Development Department has invited applications to fill the position of State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities until the 15th of September 2023.
Divulging in this regard Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that according to the provisions mentioned in Section 79 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities is to be recruited.
The minister said that the applicants should submit their self-attested documents along with the prescribed application form and send the documents by registered post to to the office of the Director Social Security, Women and Child Development Department, Punjab, SCO. No. 102-103, Sector-34-A, Chandigarh.
Dr. Baljit Kaur said that the qualification, experience, application proforma and other information related to this post are available on the department's website www.sswcd.punjab.gov.in.
