Punjab Government committed to encourage youth of state in sports: Bindra

Sahnewal (Ludhiana): Chairman of Punjab Youth Development Board, Mr Sukhwinder Singh Bindra today attended a function where Sports Kits were distributed to the members of various youth clubs of the area.

This function was organised at Govt. Primary School, G.T road Nandpur, Sahnewal. Senior Congress leader Mrs Satwinder Kaur Bitti, Mr Nitin Tandon, Mr Mandeep Singh, besides several others were also present on the occasion.

While speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bindra said that the Punjab government led by Captain Amarinder Singh is committed to the progress of Punjab's youth in all spheres. Appealing to the youth of the state to stay away from drugs and show maximan participation in sports, as Punjab is a state that has produced national level renowned players.

Er Sukhwinder Singh Bindra, while addressing the problems of the youth and giving them sound corrections said that the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, who has entrusted him with the charge of Punjab Youth Development Board would carry out his duties diligently under his able guidance and direction. He said that he stood by the Youth of the entire state.

He said that he would be visiting all the districts of the state under Youth Contact Programme to encourage the youth towards sports.
