PUNJAB GOVERNMENT COMMITTED FOR RESOLVING ALL PROBLEMS OF SMALL AND MEDIUM SCALE INDUSTRIES: CHAIRMAN PSIEC

Chandigarh, January 31, 2023: Chairman of PSIEC Dalbir Singh Dhillon today said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Mr Bhagwant Mann is committed for ensuring best industrial climate in state by resolving all the problems of Small and Medium industries.

In a statement issued here today, Dhillon said that the state government has already taken several steps to ensure conducive climate for industry in the state. He said that due to strenuous efforts of the Chief Minister Punjab has today emerged as the most preferred investment destination in the country. Dhillon said that top honchos of industry are today making beeline to invest in the state.

He said that soon a One Time Settlement for small and medium scale industries will be launched in the state. Likewise, he said that industrialists will be provided facilities so that they do not have to visit the government offices for approval. He said that a foolproof plan has been envisaged for weeding out corruption from industries department adding the era of loot that prevailed during previous governments has ended and industrial sector will soon glitter.
