Recently, the Chief Minister met with prominent industrialists in Bengaluru and extended an invitation for them to invest in Punjab. The Punjab government has taken numerous steps in recent years to realize "Ease of Doing Business." Industrial processes have been simplified, the approval system has been expedited, and transparent, technology-based governance has been implemented. As a result, over 123 reputed companies from India and abroad have proposed investments worth ₹1.23 lakh crore in Punjab to date. Addressing the industrialists in Bengaluru, the Chief Minister emphasized that Punjab’s available skilled human resources, world-class infrastructure, and renewable energy resources offer invaluable opportunities for industries. He asserted that the state’s youth power, modern outlook, and spirit of innovation are making Punjab the country's most dynamic industrial hub. Whether it is Textiles, Automobiles, Food Processing, or IT, Punjab is now playing a leading role in every sector.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann extended an invitation to the industrialists to attend the "Progressive Punjab Investors Summit" scheduled to be held in Mohali in March 2026. This summit will bring together investors, policymakers, and researchers to elevate Punjab's industrial development. He expressed confidence that Punjab would emerge as the leading state on India's industrial map in the coming years.

He stated that the Punjab government values the suggestions and innovations of industries. The government not only encourages investment but also takes the partnership with investors equally seriously.
