Chandigarh, December 10, 2014: The Punjab Government has taken a serious view of its employees proceeding abroad and extending their stay in unauthorised manner and has dismissed 6 veterinary doctors for prolonged absence from duty. A notification in this regard has been issued.
Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson said that Dr. Gurpreet Singh Batth, veterinary officer, civil veterinary hospital, brass (Fathegarh sahib), Dr.Pushpinder Singh, veterinary officer, veterinary polyclinic, Sangrur, Dr.Ravinderpal Singh, veterinary officer, civil veterinary hospital, Katthu Nangal (Amritsar), Dr. Harbhajan singh, veterinary officer, civil veterinary hospital, Mandi Gobindgarh (Fathegarh Sahib), Dr. Neeraj Sharma, veterinary officer, civil veterinary hospital, Sanaur (Patiala) and Dr. Baljit Singh, veterinary officer, civil veterinary hospital, Dhudike (Moga) have been dismissed according to rules for unauthorised absent from duty.
