A meeting to launch Punjab Chapter of International Society of Rational Pharmacotheraputics (ISRPT) being organised by Department of Pharmacology in College Campus, DMCH, Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, August 22, 2013: A meeting to launch Punjab Chapter of International Society of Rational Pharmacotheraputics (ISRPT) was organised by Department of Pharmacology in College Campus, DMCH, Ludhiana.
The Heads of departments and their colleagues from all Medical Colleges of Punjab attended it.
This society (ISRPT) was formed in the year 2009 and it is involved in promoting rational, safe and cost effective use of medicines. The Department of Pharmacology, DMCH will host the 2nd National and 5th International conference of ISRPT from 30th January to 1st February 2014. The theme of conference is “Quest for Responsible of Medicine”. Many National and International experts have consented to deliver the invited guest lecture and share their experience with their colleagues in this conference.
The Punjab Chapter was constituted with the following office bearers Dr. Geeta Sharma, Director Principal, SGRDIMSAR, Amritsar as President, Dr. Jaswant Rai, Head of the Department of Pharmacology, GMC, Amritsar and Dr. Vijay Bajaj, Prof. of Pharmacology, GMC, Patiala as Vice Presidents and Dr. Sandeep Kaushal, Head of the Department of Pharmacology. DMCH, as Secretary and Dr. Shalini Arora, Professor, Department of Pharmacology, DMCH as Treasurer In addition 9 members were constituted as executive members. The meeting ended with vote of thanks.
