Ludhiana, March 3, 2024: Ar Sanjay Goel, Past Chairman - IIA Punjab chapter and Former Director - Ludhiana Smart City Ltd has welcomed Punjab Budget. He termed it good for best education and health of Punjabis.
In a statement here today, he said it is good that 100 schools of happiness for kids 3-11 years of age will come up besides 100 schools of brilliance (senior secondary school). He said 40 schools of applied learning to boost vocational education will also come up.
Adding, he said Rs.2695 crore have been earmarked for roads and bridges in the budget, which is also good. He added still, more budget may be required in this sector.
Ar Goel said it is also good that Rs.5294 crore have been allocated for health services, Rs.249 crore for Aam Aadmi Clinics, Rs.553 crore for Ayushman Bharat- Mukhmantri Sarbat Sehat Bina Yojna and Rs 150 crore for upgradation of health infrastructure.
He hoped that Punjabis will be able to make best use of educational and healthcare budget in addition to sports, agriculture and infrastructure.
