Chandigarh, September 22, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party has launched the ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatras’ to eradicate the menace of drugs from Punjab, with the objective of completely eliminating drugs from the state. Punjab BJP state president Kewal Singh Dhillon stated this while participating in Nasha Mukt Yatra programmes held in Mohali and Kharar.
State president Kewal Singh Dhillon said that the Aam Aadmi Party government had failed to eradicate drugs and was blaming the Centre in an attempt to hide its own failure. He said that the reality was that under the Aam Aadmi Party government, the drug commonly referred to as ‘chitta’ had reached households across Punjab.
President Dhillon said that the Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra had taken the shape of a mass movement, with people across Punjab coming forward in large numbers to support the campaign.
