Jalandhar, November 27, 2025: DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Manavjit Singh Mahey, a talented and dedicated young martial artist who has brought laurels at the national level.
Manavjit Singh Mahey of Class 5 Maroon has been honoured with the Shaurya Shotokan Karate-Do National Award 2025, organized by Shaurya Martial Arts & Sports Welfare Society , Shaurya Shotokan Karate-Do Federation of India, Karate Association of India, Taekwondo Association of Punjab, and Thai Kick Boxing Association of Punjab.
The event is recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (Government of India, MSME).
Displaying exceptional speed, discipline, and technique, Manavjit secured this prestigious recognition by performing 551 fastest punches in just 2 minutes and 21 seconds, an extraordinary feat achieved in the Under-11 Sub Junior Category.
This achievement reflects his hard work, commitment, and passion for martial arts. It is also a proud moment for his coaches, parents, and the school community who continuously support and inspire him.
Principal Dr. Yogesh Gambhir congratulated Manavjit for his remarkable performance and encouraged other students to draw inspiration from his dedication and perseverance.
