PU Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival enters second day
The tradition of excellent performance is continued on day II of the Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival, Panjab University, Zone – B being organized at Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, October 16, 2022: The tradition of excellent performance is continued on day II of the Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival, Panjab University, Zone – B being organized at Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana.
Dr. Parvinder Singh, VC, Rayat Bahra, University, Mohali was the Chief Guest for morning session and Dr. Ashwani Bhalla, Deputy Director, DPI was the Chief Guest for the evening session.
Padam Bhushan Awardee Sardara Singh Johl, Former, Chancellor, Central University Bathinda was the Guest of Honour.
The college Offg. Principal Dr. Rajeshwarpal Kaur, Ranjodh Singh, President, Bhupinder Singh Milap, Vice President, S. Gurcharan Singh Lotey, General Secretary, Ramgarhia Educational Council extended a cheerful welcome to the distinguished guests of the day. Thereafter, the students of the PG, Dept. of Music Vocal rendered a shabad exquisitely. The varied competitions that marked the day were- Indian Orchestra, Instrumental Music (Percussion and Non – Percussion,) Folk Instruments, Folk Orchestra, Debate, Elocution, Poem Recitation, Muhavredar Vartalaap; Heritage Art and Craft items; Phulkari, Bagh, Dasuti/ Cross Stitch, Knitting, Crochet Work, Pakhi Designing and Mehandi Designing. All the participants exhibited their creativity enthusiastically.
Dr. Rohit Kumar Sharma, Director Dept. of Youth Welfare PU, recognized the efforts put in by the participants.
Offg. Principal Dr. Rajeshwarpal Kaur congratulated all the winners and praised their tireless efforts that they have put into to win the tough competition.
Ranjodh Singh also gave his best wishes to participants who had clinched prizes at the festival and the ones who gave them stiff competition. He further said that he was overawed by the amount of talent that young people possess.
Former Principal Dr. Inderjit Kaur, Former Senator Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Eminent Writer Bhupinder Singh Holland also graced the occasion with their presence.
Gurcharan Singh Lotey congratulated all the participants for making their presence felt on the festival.
