PU VC Raj Kumar resigns, Prof Renu Vig assumes charge as new VC

Chandigarh, January 16, 2023: Today, on the orders of Jagdeep Dhankhar, Vice-President of India and Chancellor of Panjab University, Chandigarh, Prof. Renu Vig, Dean of University Instructions, Panjab University, Chandigarh has assumed the charge as new Vice Chancellor of Panjab University till alternative arrangements are made or until further orders, whichever is earlier. 
Earlier, the Vice Chancellor Raj Kumar resigned citing family reasons. The resignation was accepted by Chancellor, Panjab University.
