PU VC extends New Year greetings, calls for student-centric approach
Panjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Renu Vig, today extended New Year greetings to faculty members, officers, administrative staff and students, congratulating them for their continued contribution to the university and wishing them success and good health in the coming year.

Prof. Vig was addressing the function organised by Panjab University Non Teaching Employees Federation (PUNTEF) under the leadership of PUSA President Sh. Honey Thakur at PU Administrative Block.
Calling for student centric approach by all stakeholders, Prof Vig said that any University exists for its students and their welfare must always be the top priority. She stressed that students’ concerns should be addressed promptly and sensitively so that they feel supported in their academic journey. She encouraged faculty members and staff to give their best for the overall benefit and growth of the university.
Calling the New Year a time for fresh beginnings, the Vice Chancellor urged all stakeholders to move forward with renewed commitment, positivity and a shared sense of responsibility. She said that collective efforts and dedication would help the university achieve greater academic excellence and strengthen its reputation further.
Dean of University Instruction Prof Yojna Rawat appreciated the leadership, vision and positive approach of the Vice Chancellor. She said that the New Year offers an opportunity to work with renewed enthusiasm and academic focus.
Registrar Prof Y.P. Verma, in his address, said that all stakeholders, irrespective of their position, should work unitedly for the growth of the university.
Those present on the occasion included Anil Thakur, XEN, Dr Vineet Punia, Director, Public Relations, Vikram Singh, Chief of University Security, Deputy Registrars, Assistant Registrars, Superintendents and staff members.
