PU Students Shine at ICLSHES 2026, Win Top Honors in Research Presentations
Two students from Panjab University’s Centre for Systems Biology and Bioinformatics have earned prestigious accolades at the International Conference on Life Sciences, Health, and Environmental Sustainability (ICLSHES 2026), hosted by Rayat Bahra University.
Chandigarh, March 19, 2026: Two students from Panjab University’s Centre for Systems Biology and Bioinformatics have earned prestigious accolades at the International Conference on Life Sciences, Health, and Environmental Sustainability (ICLSHES 2026), hosted by Rayat Bahra University.
Jasleen Kaur clinched first prize in the oral presentation category for her research on the identification of antimicrobial peptides against S. aureus using in silico approaches for the treatment of nosocomial infections. Meanwhile, Shriya Mahajan secured first prize in the poster presentation category for her work on antifungal peptides from plant storage proteins against Candida albicans.
Both students worked under the mentorship of Dr Tammanna R. Sahrawat.
