PU set for online degrees

Chandigarh: 
Panjab University Examination branches are all set to upload the
Examination data on National Academic Depositary for awarding Online
Degrees and DMCs etc from the current academic session, informed Prof
Parvinder Singh, Controller of Examination.

In this regard reasonable measures have already been taken including
legal agreement and registration of candidates from affiliated
colleges and teaching departments

He shared that In the present situation arisen due to covid19, it is
felt many candidates may not be able to get Examination related
testimonials due to lockdown of administrative offices at the moment.

It is also need of hour to initiate online mode of issuance of
Degree/DMCs to all our eligible PG students as well as Ph D scholars
for which NAD registration is must, he added.

He urged all research supervisors of Ph D students who have submitted
their thesis to get registration with NAD without delay enabling CoE
office to upload the data for necessary action.

He informed that the process of data uploading on NAD has already been
started. The Data of All PG / professional courses for session 2017
have been uploaded on NAD.  In order to benefit from Digital India
initiative, the Students can view / download digitally signed Degree,
it is important that all the students of college/Dept of All
PG/Professional courses which were passed out in last three years and
which are going to qualify for their degree of the session 2019-20
must know about it and register on the NAD system.

Registered students are able to view their academic certificates. All
the students can create their own account on NAD portal. Therefore, to
