Chandigarh, September 29, 2026: The Panjab University Institute of Social Science Education and Research (PU-ISSER) launched its first-ever student magazine, The Social Lens, in the presence of Panjab University Vice Chancellor Prof. Meenakshi Goyal.
The magazine was formally released by the Vice Chancellor, who appreciated the initiative and congratulated the students and faculty members involved. She encouraged students to pursue their academic and creative interests, express their ideas confidently, and actively participate in co-curricular activities.
Prof. Anju Suri, Coordinator, PU-ISSER, appreciated the efforts of the editorial team and encouraged students to continue using such platforms for creative and intellectual expression.
The magazine, featuring student writings, academic reflections, artwork, and diverse perspectives, was conceptualised and brought together under the guidance of Chief Editor Dr. Mamta and Student Editor Mihul Kumar.
