PU-ISSER Hosts Model Exhibition on Psychological Concepts

Chandigarh, March 11, 2026: Panjab University Institute of Social Sciences Education and Research (PU-ISSER) organised a model exhibition for students of B.A. 4th Semester on important psychological concepts.

During the exhibition, the students demonstrated a range of models explaining different areas of psychology. One of the key models illustrated the structure and functioning of a neuron, highlighting it's components.

Another model explained the concept of the split brain, focusing on the functional differences between the two hemispheres of the brain and the role of the corpus callosum in connecting them. The presentation helped participants understand how specialised brain functions are coordinated.

Students also prepared models on psychological disorders including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Social Anxiety Disorder. These models explained the symptoms, causes and effects of these conditions in an accessible and interactive manner, helping viewers better understand complex psychological phenomena.

Faculty members and students attended the exhibition and interacted with the presenters, appreciating the efforts made by the students in presenting psychological concepts through creative and informative models.
