Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh, in anticipation of the approval of Syndicate/Senate, has extended the term of Prof. S.K. Tomar, Department of Mathematics as Dean of Student Welfare w.e.f. 1.6.2021 for a period of one year.
PU VC, in anticipation of the approval of Syndicate/Senate has appointed Prof. Meena Sharma, University Business School as Dean of Student Welfare(Women) w.e.f. 1.6.2021 for a period of one year in anticipation of the approval of Syndicate/Senate.
Prof Sharma, born and brought up in Chandigarh and an alumni of UBS, Panjab University has more than 30 years of teaching and research experience. She is also Honorary Director, Central Placement Cell, Panjab University. Dr. Sharma has published more than 65 research papers in various research international and national journals and has addressed the participants of more than 35 national and international conferences, training programmes, management development programmes, orientation and refresher courses.
PU VC, in anticipation of the approval of Syndicate/Senate, has also appointed Prof. Ashok Kumar, Department of Hindi, as Associate Dean Student Welfare w.e.f. 1.6.2021 for a period of one year.

PU CET(PG) 2021 POSTPONED

This is for information of the candidates in particular and public in general that due to COVID-19, the Panjab University has decided to postpone the PU-CET (P.G.)-2021 Entrance Test which is scheduled for 12th & 13th June 2021. Further, it is informed that new date of entrance test will be updated on the website in near future and an opportunity would be given to those candidates who have not been able to apply/complete the application process during the present timeline.
