PU Admissions go online

Chandigarh, June 07, 2017: Prof.Arun K. Grover, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh in the presence of Prof. Meenakshi Malhotra, Dean University Instructions (DUI), and Prof.Dinesh K.Gupta, UBS and former DUI today launched the Handbook of Information-2017. Prof. Gupta who worked relentlessly with his entire team for 8 months in completing the Handbook informed that the new Handbook has accurate and additional students related informations meticulously put for them like number of seats, important dates for admissions, fee structure, various scholarships available, procedure for
applying etc, which can be purchased on payment from the PU Sale Counter or can be downloaded from PU website. He informed that for the convenience of the students, centralised checking of certificates has been introduced.
On this occasion, Prof. Grover said that the University is expecting huge response for the admissions as large numbers of students from all parts of the country were putting enquiries regarding admission process at PU. He informed that the objective of online admissions is transparency and is operative through Cloud-Based system giving highest order of perfection. He added that multi-options for payment have been provided to the students through payment gateway making it a hassle free
process.
PU is offering number of Postgraduate, Undergraduate, Diploma and Certificate courses for the academic session 2017-2018. Application form for Admissions for all courses for PU Campus and its Regional Centres at Hoshiarpur, Ludhiana, Kauni and

It was also informed that four help desks manned by two persons each would be set up during admission period at Computer Centre, Gate No.1, UIET and Single Window Enquiry.
