Chandigarh, May 28, 2025: Sarita Jaiswal, a dedicated student of M.Sc. Foods and Nutrition at the esteemed Govt. Home Science College, has become a source of pride and inspiration by successfully balancing academics with a part-time professional role. Demonstrating the spirit of “Earn While You Learn,” Sarita has been offered a role of Dietician by Fitwiser, Classic Fitness Academy, Mohali. Sarita's journey is backed by over one and a half years of hands-on experience in the field.
With the college’s full support, Sarita was granted permission to leave the hostel premises to pursue this opportunity. Her efforts not only enhance her practical knowledge in the field of nutrition but also set a motivational example for fellow students. She earns ₹1,200 per day through her counselling sessions, proving that determination and time management can lead to both academic and professional growth.
The initiative underscores the college’s progressive approach to education, encouraging students to gain real-world experience alongside their studies.
