Professor Sapna Garg gets appointed Dean of MDU's Faculty of Physical Sciences
MDU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia has appointed Dr. Sapna Garg, a Senior Professor in the Department of Chemistry, as the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Sciences, pursuant to the provisions of Statute-19 of the MDU Act.

Rohtak, May 7, 2026: MDU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia has appointed Dr. Sapna Garg, a Senior Professor in the Department of Chemistry, as the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Sciences, pursuant to the provisions of Statute-19 of the MDU Act.
Registrar Prof. Sandeep Bansal said that Prof. Sapna Garg's appointment as the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Sciences has been made for tenure of three years, with immediate effect.
Notably, Prof. Sapna Garg has been actively engaged in teaching, research, and administrative duties for a considerable period. Expressing her gratitude to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia and the university administration, she affirmed her commitment to providing a new direction to the academic and research activities of the faculty.
