Prof. Sudhir Kumar, Director, Research & Development Cell, Panjab University takes over charge of A.C. Joshi Library as University Librarian 

Chandigarh, June 28, 2022: Prof. Sudhir Kumar, Director, Research & Development Cell, Panjab University has taken over the charge of A.C. Joshi Library as University Librarian today. The Library staff welcomed Prof. Sudhir Kumar and congratulated him for taking charge of the Library. Prof. Sudhir Kumar, during discussion with the staff members, said that A.C. Joshi Library is one of the prestigious libraries in the country and plays a very important role to support teaching and research. He has also given various ideas for the development of the Library for its readers such as starting of Granth Varta to have discussion on a particular book or a theme on regular basis, display of library related news and information in the digital signage in Hindi and Punjabi languages also and to provide more users friendly services. He also motivated the library staff members to work as a team and perform their duties with full commitment to ensure the development of A.C. Joshi Library.
