The Prof. Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation has expressed deep grief over the demise of Kamlesh Kaur, wife of senior journalist Gurdev Mullanpuri. Kamlesh Kaur had been ill for quite some time.
Ludhiana, September 14, 2026: The Prof. Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation has expressed deep grief over the demise of Kamlesh Kaur, wife of senior journalist Gurdev Mullanpuri. SKamlesh Kaur had been ill for quite some time.
On this occasion, Foundation President Rajeev Lovely, Chairman Gurnam Singh Dhaliwal, Patron Pragat Singh Grewal, Dr. Gurbhajan Singh Gill, Nirmal Jaura, Mela Committee Chairman Prithipal Singh Batala, Amarinder Singh Jassowal, Krishan Kumar Bawa and Malkiyat Singh Dakha expressed profound sorrow over the demise of Gurdev Mullanpuri’s wife.
Foundation President Rajiv Lovely said that Gurdev Singh Mullanpuri has been associated with the Prof. Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation since its inception. Due to his close association with the late Jasdev Singh Jassowal, he has always played an active and important role in the foundation’s mela programmes.
Dr. Gurbhajan Singh Gill, Gurnam Singh Dhaliwal, Pragat Singh Grewal, Prithipal Singh Batala and Nirmal Jaura said that Gurdev Mullanpuri has always shared a deep bond with the Prof. Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation. His wife passed away after a prolonged illness. The irreparable loss suffered by the family can never be compensated. They prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give the family strength to bear this difficult loss.
Amarinder Singh Jassowal, Krishan Kumar Bawa and Malkiyat Singh Dakha said that Mullanpuri is regarded as a pillar of Punjabi journalism. The Foundation stands shoulder to shoulder with the bereaved family during this hour of grief.
