Chandigarh, March 17, 2026: Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Ajay Kumar, Chairperson, Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh, was honoured with a Certificate of Honour, presented by the Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh, on the occasion of International Women's Day 2026.
The recognition was conferred at the Fempreneur Rising Stars Felicitation Ceremony 2026, organised by the Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE). The ceremony celebrated distinguished women from diverse spheres whose dedication, leadership, and service have made meaningful contributions to society while advancing the larger cause of women’s empowerment.
The occasion brought together an inspiring group of women achievers, including eminent personalities such as Mary Kom and noted social artist and activist Rouble Nagi, among others, whose work continues to inspire change and progress.
On this occasion, the awardees were presented with the Certificate of Merit (Sammaan Patra) in recognition of their exemplary contributions and accomplishments.
