Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) reached a new milestone with the inauguration of its state-of-the-art Technical Campus, dedicated to AICTE-approved Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs.

Jalandhar, July 18, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) reached a new milestone with the inauguration of its state-of-the-art Technical Campus, dedicated to AICTE-approved Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs.
The prestigious event was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Karamjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar, who officially inaugurated the institute within the KMV campus. Chander Mohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal, also marked his presence on this landmark occasion.
It is noteworthy that KMV has become the first degree college affiliated to GNDU to offer MBA and MCA programs.
In his inaugural address, the GNDU Vice-Chancellor lauded KMV's progressive vision and unwavering commitment to quality education. Declaring KMV as “the pride of GNDU and among the premier institutions of India,” he expressed confidence that KMV would emerge as a launchpad for startups and entrepreneurial ventures.
He also praised KMV for imparting high-quality, globally recognised education through its MBA and MCA programs. Stressing the relevance of such specialised technical courses, he said that in an era dominated by Artificial Intelligence (AI), innovation, creativity, positive attitude, and the right skillset are key to success.
Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal, KMV, presented a detailed overview of the institution's innovative teaching practices. She highlighted KMV's initiatives in integrating cutting-edge technology — especially AI — into its pedagogy, along with its emphasis on nurturing leadership skills, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving abilities among students.
She also showcased KMV's vibrant innovation hub, research initiatives, and various skill development programs designed to equip students with industry-relevant competencies. She expressed confidence that the new Technical Campus will serve as a hub for professional education, offering dynamic, future-ready programs aligned with global job market demands.
These AICTE-approved MBA and MCA programs will be awarded by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, ensuring adherence to national standards of excellence.
Expressing his immense pride, Chander Mohan reiterated KMV's enduring commitment to academic excellence and women empowerment through education. He termed the establishment of the Technical Institute as a landmark in KMV’s illustrious journey, reinforcing its standing as a leading centre for professional and technical education in the region.

The event was also attended by Neerja Chander Mohan, Dr. Deepali Luthra, Dr. Satpal Gupta, Dr. Kamal Gupta, and Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, Principal, Doaba College.
