Prize winning master athlete opens The Soul Train Gym & Spa in Panchkula

Panchkula, September 22, 2022: The Soul Train Gym & Spa, the first gym in Tricity with an open rooftop crossfit, has been opened by a prize winning woman athlete Rakhi Sharma, near Agro Mall, Panchkula. 

Rakhi Sharma, Owner of the Soul Train Gym & Spa, is a master athelete who has won two bronze medals in 400 meter and 800 meter in the 40+ age category at the first AFI Master National Championship held at Swarnim Sports Complex, Vadodra, Gujrat on 16 to 19 June 2022. She also won a bronze medal in 5km run in April 2022 at the 42nd Master Athletics Championship held at JN Stadium in Chennai on 27 April to 2nd May 2022. 

The master athlete has participated in several state, national and international level athletic championships. She won 2 gold medals in Kuching Sarawak Open International Championship in 2017 and took part in Asian Championship 2019 held in Malaysia.
 
On the opening of the new gym, Rakhi Sharma said, “I am happy to bring here a state of the art gym and spa with a focus on the families, where mother and daughters and father and sons can together pursue the fitness programs. I  believe, my hard work paid me off well in the Vadodara championship. I had practiced for 4 to 5 hours daily at Tau Devi Lal Sports Stadium. Our gym is a safe place for women and we hold a special crossfit classes for kids and teenagers. Our aim is to keep the Tricity fit and healthy, because fitness is the key to success.”
