Ferozepur, March 22, 2013: One prisoner, facing imprisonment in the case under NDPS Act in Central Jail, died while under treatment at Civil Hospital, Ferozepur.
Giving this information, Satnam Singh, SI said, as per the information given by the jail authorities, Sabbu prisoner was ressident of Abohar and was imprisoned under NDPS Act by the court. He was kept in the jail hospital due to his illness and later on shifted to Civil Hospital.
According to SSP, the post-mortem of the dead body would be conducted to ascertain and record the cause of death.
