Ferozepur, March 8, 2013: On Friday, a prisoner committed suicide, by hanging himself, under mysterious circumstances in Central Jail, Ferozepur, facing life imprisonment in a murder case.
As per the sources, Joginder Singh alias Kala, a resident of village Burji, aged 40 years, in the morning climbed the tree, in the Central Jail and hanged himself by putting a cloth round the neck and died on the spot.
The jail and police officials are trying to know the cause of committing suicide and completing the legal formalities.
No reasons could be ascertained till the filing of this report.
