Print Shree to Sandip Kumar Sanyal

Ludhiana, January 27, 2024: The dedicated and selfless personality, Sandip Kumar Sanyal is the proud recipient of ‘Print Shree’ for the year 2024. During the Executive Meeting of Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) it is unanimously resolved that Sandip is the most deserving person for this honour, because of his activities and commendable endeavours towards generating the awareness about latest innovations and technologies in the Eastern region of the country. He is instrumental in conducting the Eastern Print Pack under the aegis of West Bengal Master Printers Association (WBMPA). His contributions are appreciated by the people in print. Due to his commitment to the printing industry and services, he is recognised as the print leader in the Eastern part of the country. 

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Kamal Mohan Chopra said that OPA remains always vigilant and active to recognise the personalities genuinely working for the cause of printing and packaging sector. ‘Print Shree’ is conferred to a veteran for recognising his endless gallant contributions for the development of printing sector.  The award will carry a Plaque, Shawl, Siropa and Citation and will be conferred during the glittering function of OPA sometime later. 

Gagandeep Singh, Vice President OPA said, that OPA took up the challenge and instituted awards for recognition of the Print Luminaries in the year 1998, to honour such unsung revolutionaries of print world who with their determination and will power have transformed the printing of India. Honouring such luminaries ensures that other in the field get inspired and strive hard to reach their goals. At OPA we feel that the Indian printing industry owes him a lot.  By honouring Sandip, the association is acknowledging the debt of gratitude which the printers owe to him.
