Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra became Senator of GNDU

Jalandhar, March 17, 2022: While the students and teachers of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar have made the college proud with their achievement time and again, this time college has achieved another milestone with  Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra being nominated as Senator of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He has received this honor for his work and administrative services done for the overall development of the students. Dr. Samra was nominated for this position by Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice Chancellor Guru Nanak Dev University. Dr Samra has previously been a senator of Guru Nanak Dev University as a teacher. He is currently the member of Sports Committee of Guru Nanak Dev University, Member College Development Council, Member Academic Council, Member Youth Welfare Advisory Committee, Member Sports Committee, Member Rule and Regulation Committee. He is also a member of Advisory Committee POE Baramula (J&K), Member Non-Government College Management Federation of Punjab and Chandigarh, Member Academic Council SBBS University Padhiana and Member Academic Council Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University Patiala. Dr. Samra has also been the President of the Principals’ Association of Colleges affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University for the last six consecutive years. He was congratulated by the Governing Council and the entire staff of the college on becoming the Senator. Dr Samra expressed his gratitude towards Vice Chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu for having trust in him and his capabilities.
