Presentation skills demonstrated by students

Skill-Will-Lead (4th Edition), an Inter-College presentation competition under the aegis of CII-Majestic was organized at University Business School (UBS), Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana. This annual competition is the outcome of the vision of Mahesh Munjal, Chairman & Managing Director, Majestic Autos Limited (MAL) to upskill the youth and make them industry ready. A total of five teams from different management institutes of Ludhiana participated.

Ludhiana, October 12, 2023: Skill-Will-Lead (4th Edition), an Inter-College presentation competition under the aegis of CII-Majestic was organized at University Business School (UBS), Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana. This annual competition is the outcome of the vision of Mahesh Munjal, Chairman & Managing Director, Majestic Autos Limited (MAL) to upskill the youth and make them industry ready. A total of five teams from different management institutes of Ludhiana participated.

Prof. Aman Amrit Cheema, Director PURC extended the floral welcome to the Judges, Mahesh Munjal, MD (MAL), Er. Nalin Tayal, GATS India Ltd., Parth Kapur, Director, DMK Fasting and Nitin Jain. While addressing, she encouraged the students for the enthusiastic participation in the competition. She further emphasized that presentation skills are very much essential for the MBA students as it helps in communicating the complex ideas in a clear and easiest manner.  Dr. Shashi Kapoor, Coordinator (MBA) extended welcome to the panelist of judges, faculty members and students from different institutes. He encouraged the students to give their best for the competition without worrying for the position to be won.

Munjal in his opening address to the students emphasized the importance of team and teamwork in the journey of achieving success. He also gave a lovely metaphor that both the deer and the lion must run for their existence. The deer for his life and the lion for his food. In the same manner, youth must undergo tapas and upskill themselves to achieve their life goals. In this direction, SKILL-WILL-LEAD competition is organized to offer the young minds to demonstrate their knowledge and creativity.

The teams from UBS, Ludhiana secured the first position along with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-; the team from GNIMT, Ludhiana were judged second along with prize money of Rs. 15,000/- and team from KIMT, Ludhiana were bestowed with cash prize Rs. 10,000/- at the third position.

Dr. Ashish Saihjpal congratulated all the teams for their active participation and outstanding performance along with a vote of thanks to all for making this event a grand success.
