Prem Chand Markanda S.D. College for Women holds International Guest  Lecture  on “Ajoke Pidi Da Vedeshan Wal  Ruzhaan”

Jalandhar, March 6, 2024: Prem Chand Markanda S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organized an enlightening International Guest Lecture, titled "Ajoke Pidi Da Vedeshan Wal Ruzhaan," collaboratively hosted by the Department of History and the Department of Punjabi.

Sukhi Bath, the esteemed Founder of Punjab Bhawan Sari in Canada, served as the distinguished resource person for the day. The event began with a warm floral welcome extended to Sukhi Bath by Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar. The Principal provided a brief overview of the institution, setting the stage for the forthcoming insightful discussions.

In his enlightening speech, Sukhi Bath delved into the intricacies of cultural shifts experienced by the diaspora, providing valuable insights and perspectives on the theme. He shared anecdotes and experiences, fostering a deeper understanding of the topic among the audience.

Expressing gratitude, Kawaljit Kaur, Head of the Department of History, delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, while Dr. Anju Bala from the Department of Punjabi effectively managed the stage. The lecture proved to be highly beneficial, fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
