Pre-Placement Talk and Placement Drive conducted at Home Science College

Jalandhar, January 26, 2024: Innovation Entrepreneurship and Placement (IEP) Cell of Government Home Science College organized a Pre-Placement talk and Placement Drive on January 25, for college students. 361 Media Corps, an event management and media marketing company, was the chief recruiter for this drive. 

Ankur Nakra, the Associate Director of 361 Media Corps, briefed the students about the job role and also talked about what his company deals with and his expectations from the candidates. More than 60 students from B.Sc and MSc classes participated in this drive. In the pre placement talk, Ankur shared the experiences of starting his venture and guided the students about the various challenges that may face during entrepreneurial journey. The students passed through three rigorous rounds of selection and final appointment for posts of content writer. In the first round the students were scrutinized through a written assignment and those passed through the written assignment were selected for the interview round. Approximately 33 students appeared for written selection rounds and 20 candidates were shortlisted for second round of interview. Out of which, 5 students have been called for a direct interview in their office. 

Principal of the College, Prof. Sudha Katyal congratulated the students for passing through various rounds of selection and advised them to always grab such opportunities.
