Pre anesthesia clinic (PAC) inaugurated at DMCH

Ludhiana, December 2, 2021: With an aim to provide high quality medical care facilities to the patients, Pre Anesthesia Clinic (PAC) was inaugurated today in the OPD Block of DMCH.
The chief guest for the inauguration was Secretary DMCH Managing Society, Prem Kumar Gupta along with Principal Dr Sandeep Puri, Vice Principal Dr G S Wander, Dean Academics Dr Sandeep Kaushal, Medical Supdts. Dr Ashwani K  Chaudhary, Dr Sandeep Sharma, Dr Bishav Mohan and other faculty members of DMCH.
In his message, Prem Kumar Gupta said that, DMCH is always committed to provide the best medical care at affordable price.
Dr Sandeep Puri, Principal said that this clinic will help to decrease the hospital stay of the patients during surgery. Further Dr Puri said that this clinic serves to provide a comprehensive evaluation of patients by experienced anesthesiologists.
Giving an information about the specialized services, Dr Anju Garewal Professor & Head Department of Anaesthesia said that Pre Anaethesia Clinic (PAC) by an experienced anaesthesiologist, plays a vital role in evaluating and optimizing medical and surgical co morbidities prior to surgery, especially in an era of Enhanced Recovery after surgery (ERAS).This evaluation includes detailed medical checkup, physical examination, necessary preoperative investigations and rehabilitation measures.
Pre Anethesia Clinic will be functional on all working days (Monday to Saturday)in room no22, private OPD complex, DMCH from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
