Postal department issues special 'Water-Proof Rakhi Envelopes & Boxes'

Ludhiana, July 22- The Postal department has introduced special envelopes for sending rakhis on time this year.
As the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan draws nearer on August 9, all the Post Offices in Ludhiana City Division, have made elaborate arrangements to bring joy and love to the people along with convenience under one roof, through sale, booking and transmission of new Water-Proof Rakhi Envelopes& Boxes“.
In view of an increasing demand of these specialised Rakhi envelopes and boxes, all the Post Offices have set up exclusive counters for packing and booking of ‘Rakhis’ so that the customers can conveniently dispatch their rakhis through expedited Postal Services of the Department.
Rakhi Mail has been prioritised within the Post Offices for an exclusive transmission so as to ensure swift distribution of Rakhi Packages/Envelopes. There has been a good range of small and large size of envelopes at reasonable and cheaper rates. For heavy stock of Rakhis, Small Boxes are also available at all the Post Offices, for transmission of such materials.
Prominent ‘Rakhi Labels on the envelopes will streamline the sorting and ensure timely delivery arrangements.Customers are advised to write the recipients’ address properly with PIN Code and Mobile Number so as to facilitate swift delivery of rakhi packages. Therefore the customers are advised to book ‘Rakhi ‘ well in time so as to avoid last minte rush.
In addition, custom clearance arrangements are also available at Ludhiana Head Post Office for international booking of Rakhi Mail.
