An significant Portrait depicting the National Bird of our nation – Peacock of  PAU was released today by the Vice Chancellor Dr Satbir Singh Gosal , along with Former Vice Chancellor Dr M S Kang , Addl Director T S Riar, Faculty and Students of PAU at as special event held in Committee room of Vice Chancellors office in Thapar Hall PAU Campus, the mesmerizing Portarit of National Bird Peacock prepared by eminent nature artist Harpreet Sandhu , To here by, it is worth mentioning that current goal is to emphasise on the importance of Indian peafowl in an ecosystem and PAU’s role in conserving this species. This timely intervention of conservation of Indian peafowl is because of the efforts of Mr. Harpreet Sandhu in collaboration with Punjab Agricultural University and under the guidance of Vice Chancellor of Punjab Agricultural University Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal will go a long way in spreading a message within the society to have glimpse of the National Bird Peacock in PAU forest area and the Vice Chancellor appreciated the innovative work done in the interest of University by Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu
