Launches new Eco Firendly Cable ‘Green Cable’
Bengaluru, July 28, 2017: Polycab, India’s largest wire and cable producer aims to achieve revenues of about Rs 10,000 crore by 2020 compared to its current revenues of Rs 6,500 crore. To achieve this, the company has embarked on strategy of expanding customer and distribution network and introducing new products to add to its already large product basket. Polycab has already invested in state of the art manufacturing facilities capable to achieve this goal.

Mr. R Ramakrishnan, Vice Chairman & Joint Managing Director of Polycab said "Polycab is emerging as one of India's strongest electricals companies and straddles both the Infrastructure segment and the Consumer Electricals segment. Polycab's Manufacturing strengths, Product Innovation, Brand Image and strong Distribution have helped the company create success across Cables, Wires, Fans, LED Lighting, Switches, MCB and Conduits.

As part of the strategy, Polycab introduced its new product ‘GREEN CABLE’. The product has set a benchmark by complying with the RoHS standards (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), a European Union directive norm, by European Union on 1st July, 2006.

With the launch of ‘Green Cables’, the company also aims to contribute towards India’s commitment to ‘Go Green’.
