Police Personnel Practice various Yoga Asanas during Training Protocol Program at PTC, Sunaria.
On Monday—the fourth day of a five-day Yoga Training Protocol Program organized by the Haryana Yoga Commission in observance of International Yoga Day 2026—approximately 1,400 participants, including officers, staff members, and trainees, participated enthusiastically at the Police Training College (PTC), Sunaria.
Rohtak, May 18, 2026: On Monday—the fourth day of a five-day Yoga Training Protocol Program organized by the Haryana Yoga Commission in observance of International Yoga Day 2026—approximately 1,400 participants, including officers, staff members, and trainees, participated enthusiastically at the Police Training College (PTC), Sunaria.
Held under the guidance of Manbir Singh (IPS), DIG of PTC Sunaria, the event featured Dr. Rajkumar Arya, Registrar of the Haryana Yoga Commission, who attended as an expert. Accompanied by his team members—Dr. Pooja (Yoga Specialist, AYUSH Department, Rohtak), District Ayurvedic Officer Dr. Satpal, Dr. Suman Sehrawat (District Yoga Coordinator), and Yoga Assistants Neelam, Indu Satyawan, and Amit—he guided the participants through the practice of various yoga asanas. Additionally, he apprised them of the numerous benefits and nuances of yoga.
Dr. Rajkumar Arya led the participants through ‘Sukshma Vyayam’ designed to enhance the flexibility of various body parts. This was followed by the practice of different ‘Asanas’ and ‘Pranayama’ techniques. He emphasized that regular yoga practice not only improves physical health but also enhances mental concentration and inner strength.
Special guest, Baba Rajnath—Patron of the Haryana Yogasana Sports Association—highlighted the significance of yoga and encouraged everyone to incorporate it into their daily routines on a regular basis. He said that yoga is not merely a form of physical exercise, but a pathway to mental peace and spiritual growth.
Kulbir Singh (HPS), Deputy Superintendent of Police at PTC Sunaria, welcomed all the guest instructors and presented them with saplings as mementos. He noted that, under the initiative of the Haryana Yoga Commission, the objective of this program is to take yoga to every citizen across the state and to establish it as the cornerstone of a healthy lifestyle. This training session at the PTC is proving to be extremely useful and inspiring for officers, staff, and trainees.
