Poetry recitation competition held at NSPS Gill

Ludhiana, August 9, 2018: The tiny tots of Primary wing of Nankana Sahib Public School tried their recitation skills here today in the poem recitation competition. The students from class first to third presented their skill by reciting poems on themes like parents, books, nation, save girl child, save water, don’t quit, rain etc. The enthusiastic students reflected different types of rhyme scheme while performing. The Headmistress of the primary Wing Mrs Jasmeen Kaur appreciated the efforts of the students . The school Principal Mrs Harmeet Kaur Waraich asked the children to participate more in such competitions for their all round development. The results of the competition are as follows: Class 1: Anmoldeep Kaur 1, Aashish Verma and Ekamjot Singh remained second while Avneoor kaur and Japleen Kaur stood third . While Jaimanpreet Kaur got consolation award. Class 2: Parneet Kaur 1, Dilreeet Kaur 2. While Triatnoor Kaur and Navjot Kaur remained third. While Vishakha Sharma and Priyanshi Kalsi got consolation prize. Class 3: Gungeet first, Simardeep Kaur 2, Harinayat Kaur and Avneet Kaur remained third. While Shivani got consolation award.
