PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya to be beautified with educational Wall Paintings: DC Sachin Gupta
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta, who is also the Chairman of the School Management Committee of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Rohtak, directed that the boundary wall of the school be beautified through educational-themed paintings to make the campus more attractive and inspiring for students.
Rohtak, March 6, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta, who is also the Chairman of the School Management Committee of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Rohtak, directed that the boundary wall of the school be beautified through educational-themed paintings to make the campus more attractive and inspiring for students.
He issued these directions while chairing a meeting of the School Management Committee at the Mini Secretariat.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the paintings should carry themes related to education, learning and values, so that the boundary walls not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the school but also serve as a source of motivation and awareness for students.
He also directed officials to ensure proper traffic management during school opening and closing hours so that students can commute safely. He instructed that traffic should be regulated during both periods to avoid congestion near the school premises.
During the meeting, directions were also issued regarding improvement of rainwater harvesting systems, installation of solar panels, strengthening of drinking water facilities and better drainage arrangements within the school campus.
Reviewing the agenda items of the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta held discussions with officials of concerned departments and directed that works related to the school should be completed on priority so that students are provided with better academic and infrastructure facilities.
During the meeting, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Paramjeet Kaur, reviewed the progress of decisions taken in the previous meeting and presented the agenda items for detailed discussion.
The meeting was attended by Joint Commissioner Municipal Corporation Manjeet Singh, Civil Surgeon Dr. Ramesh Chandra, Headmaster Sandeep Kumar, Director Akashvani Rohtak Sanjay Bali, Rajaram Pandit, Income Tax Inspector Anil Kumar, Executive Engineer PWD Hemant and other officials.
A Class VIII student of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rohtak, Shubham Kaushik, has been selected for the prestigious MANAK INSPIRE Award presented by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
The school management committee and district administration congratulated the student on this achievement.
Chairman of the School Management Committee and Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta appreciated the achievement and said that such accomplishments serve as an inspiration for other students as well. He added that holistic development of students is the true objective of education.
Out of 898 students selected from Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country, one project has been selected from Kendriya Vidyalaya Rohtak. A total of 26 projects have been selected from the Gurugram region of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, including this project.
Principal Paramjeet Kaur said the achievement is a matter of pride for the school and will encourage other students to take interest in science and innovation.
